Broken Spring, Car Stuck Inside

Door Will Not Close or Lock
An open garage leaves your home and belongings exposed overnight. We fix the cause, whether it is a sensor, a track, a cable or the opener, so the door closes and locks.
Door Off Its Track or Hanging Crooked
A door that has come off its rollers or is hanging at an angle can fall. Keep people, pets and cars away from it and call us. We secure the door, then repair the tracks, rollers and cables.
Snapped Cable
When a lift cable breaks, one side of the door drops and the door can jam. We replace the cables and check the drums and springs on both sides.

What to Do Until We Arrive
- Keep everyone, including pets, away from the door and its springs and cables
- Do not try to lift a door with a broken spring by hand: it is very heavy
- Unplug the opener so it does not run again and cause more damage
- If the door is stuck open, move valuables out of sight if you can do so safely
- If the door is stuck closed with a car inside, tell us when you call so we can plan for it
